SAN RAMON, Calif., April 25, 2018 -- vCom Solutions, a leader in SaaS and managed services for IT spend management, is pleased to announce the release of vManager 10.1. The latest release has a number of useful new features, tools, and performance upgrades that tackle the process of managing IT spend. The vManager 10.1 enhancements are across multiple touch points of the IT lifecycle. This version of the release serves up something for everyone managing IT expense – from solution design to operations and finance.
Benefits include significantly improved performance and speed to give you the information you need to get your business running and your IT spend under control.
A new Solution Design module within Planning & Procurement Management provides insights into the technology design process, including sample models prepared by vCom’s technology solutions group as part of the IT planning and the technology architecture process. The new My Solutions option enables you to collaborate with your team, view service provider benchmarks and vendor scorecards – leveraging our built-in RFP process.
Based in Operations Management, we have enhanced our Asset Management tools to provide customers a single pane into both vCom-Managed Hardware as well as customer-provided hardware.
The Financial Management section of vManager features notable enhancements. We have introduced a new Invoice Tracking & Admin Tool that enables you to view the onboarding status of invoices not yet loaded into the Invoice Management module. Thanks to customer feedback, the Invoice Workflow engine now supports creating, assigning, and setting threshold workflows, so you can easily manage invoices across various groups, accounts, or monetary value. In addition, vManager 10.1 encompasses enhanced Bill Pay offering, with a robust payment management engine that tracks accounts, invoices and payment methods, streamlining the bill payment process.
Jodi Heim, Network Engineer of First National Bank, comments, “We’ve seen significant improvements in our efficiency and time savings by having all vendor and invoice information in vManager versus keeping disparate spreadsheets. I was used to logging into all of those vendor portals myself, but now I use vManager exclusively to view and manage my IT costs so I can now see what is coming or if anything was missed. Our vCom team really listens to our goals and consistently improves their product design with current and future customers in mind.”
“We are always excited to enhance vManager to better support our customers,” says Adam Shawley, vCom’s CIO. “This release has a bit of something for everyone. There is a complement of exciting new tools coupled with drastic upgrades of existing tools, along with some under-the-hood work to improve performance. The goal is to create more efficiency in the IT lifecycle management process,” he continued.
