“Better Call Saul” Season 4 has been full of twists, turns, and surprises that have kept viewers on the edge of their seats. Now, the season finale is almost here, and everyone is wondering what awaits Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk) at the end of that road. Will Kim (Rhea Seehorn) finally walk away after the epic fight last Monday or will they have a happy ending? Why is Mike (Jonathan Banks) looking so scared in a sneak peek clip?
Watching the trailer for “Better Call Saul” Season 4 finale provides a few details that might answer some of the burning questions that people still have about the crime drama. It seems Kim and Jimmy are still holding on, at the moment, but there’s no telling if this is still the case by the time credits roll. It would also appear that Mike’s side will be having quite the action-packed finale.
As for what exactly awaits Jimmy by the end of “Better Call Saul” Season 4, everyone likely already knows that he will become Saul Goodman, eventually. After that, he will become the miserable existence known as Gene, and it all could snowball from the end of this season. Will Jimmy actually find happiness in the end?
Bob Odenkirk would like for this to be the case, as he told Entertainment Weekly in a recent “Better Call Saul” Season 4 interview. While the actor admitted that he would rather that Kim was not with Jimmy if he finally turned into Saul, he also hoped that there comes a time when they end up together, with both being in a better place.
“I would love them to be together and him to be the most low-end lawyer in town, still doing good work, and her to be the highest-class lawyer in town, and everyone to laugh about it,” the actor tells the publication. “They go to dinners and everyone goes, ‘How do you guys do it?,’ And they go, ‘I don’t know!'”
On that note, there is also a “Better Call Saul” Season 4 finale clip where Mike is looking quite rattled as he hands over the letter he got from Werner (Rainer Bock). In the scene, the fan favorite clearly looks scared, which does not bode well. Mike is never supposed to be scared.
“Better Call Saul” Season 4 airs on Oct. 8 on AMC. That’s a date worth saving.
