Tech enthusiasts are looking forward to the CES 2021 this year. Despite the coronavirus crisis around the world, tech companies never stopped innovating; thus, new cutting-edge products are still coming up for release.
The CES 2021 details
The CES 2021 will be very different from the past annual consumer electronics trade show, but still, it will be the biggest event for the major companies and tech-loving consumers. This year, there will be no physical attendees at a particular venue, just like how it was always done since the Consumer Electronics Show was inaugurated in 1967.
In any case, the CES 2021 is set to be presented virtually, making the trade show an all-digital experience that is happening for the first time. As everyone already knows, restrictions for attending a gathering for any occasion are in place due to COVID-19; thus, this expo could only be done remotely, with viewers watching the presentation and demo online. In any case, here are the technologies that are expected to be launched during the show.
LG Electronics
It was already confirmed that LG is revealing its OLED screen technology at the CES 2021 for gaming and TV viewing. It was also mentioned that LG NanoCell, Televisions, and its latest version of its wireless TONE Free earbuds are also coming up on stage at the event.
Samsung
As mentioned on Tech Radar, Samsung is also unveiling TVs and, in particular, a zero-bezel Q950TS 8K QLED television series. It was said that the South Korean tech company is releasing more advanced 8K TV sets via the CES 2021.
Viewers should also look forward to transparent TV displays and ones with new audio features for more immersive viewing. Other unique features such as Amazon Alexa voice control is something not to be missed during the presentations.
Health gadgets to cope with the new lifestyle
As per Tom’s Guide, since the pandemic is still here, tech companies are expected to reveal health-related devices to bolster the immune system and fight COVID-19. Some of the items mentioned include the possible introduction of home gym equipment, smart masks, helmets, smartwatches with health monitors, air purifiers, and devices that can monitor coronavirus.
Finally, Hi Sense, Panasonic, TCL, Phillips, and more brands are expected to present their new wares at the upcoming CES 2021. The event will take place from Jan. 11 to Jan. 14, and interested parties can refer to the schedules to view the presentations.
