DC’s “Legends of Tomorrow” Season 4 is almost here, and there are a lot of details coming out to get fans excited about the upcoming episodes. There was a new trailer released, to start with, showcasing scenes in the new season. They include magic circles, winged demons, a giant stuffed toy, and John Constantine (Matt Ryan) himself. A major figure behind the scenes also took time to answer questions about the new season. [Spoilers Ahead.]
In the recently released trailer for “Legends of Tomorrow” Season 4, it’s clear that things are about to take a turn for the magical. A lot of the scenes in the clip are basically a recap of the previous season, which helps for those who missed season 3. However, considering that there is now a unicorn in the mix, it’s safe to say that other nasty things are going to follow.
The returning cast members will still include Caity Lotz as Sara Lance or White Canary, Brandon Routh as Ray Palmer or Atom, Dominic Purcell as Heat Wave, Nick Zano as Steel, and Tala Ashe as Zari Tomas. Keiynan Lonsdale will not be returning for “Legends of Tomorrow” Season 4 as Wally West since he is set to go on his own journey.
Speaking to TV Insider recently, executive producer Phil Klemmer provides some insight into what viewers can expect for “Legends of Tomorrow” Season 4. On the matter of John Constantine joining the gang, Klemmer confirms that there are going to be all kinds of magical hijinks to be expected.
"Time travel and history are fun, but mashing them up with genres adds an extra layer," Klemmer said.
It would appear that all manner of "magical creatures, beasts and figures from fairy tales and fables" will be featured in “Legends of Tomorrow” Season 4. Viewers will see just what these are all about when the show premieres on Oct. 22.
