“The Curse of Oak Island” season 7 episode 17 is predicted to be mindblowing as the Lagina brothers and their team seem to have discovered something really important. In recent weeks, they have been finding many interesting artifacts, and all of them appeared to have a connection with the flood tunnel and sunken ship that they think was buried in the swamp.
Spoilers and episode synopsis
“The Curse of Oak Island” season 7 episode 17 has been titled “To Boulderly Go” and as posted on History, its synopsis reads: “Time to investigate the uplands of Smith's Cove is quickly running out so Rick goes to extreme and dangerous measures to get answers.”
The Lagina brothers have not found the treasures or the legendary Money Pit yet, but their latest discoveries suggest that they will be able to locate it very soon. Rick, Marty, and their team of experts have dug up many interesting artifacts, and initial assessments revealed that they were objects from the early to late 1700s.
What they found in the swamp
They found a pike pole, a piece of metal that they said could have been used as a strap to secure a box or a chest, spikes and some pieces of iron that they believe could be part of a ship that was burned down so it will sink at the bottom to hide the treasures it carries. Moreover, at Smith’s Cove, they also discovered some coconut fiber where wood and rock formation were in place.
The experts deduced that the coconut fibers could have been used as filter and part of the flood tunnel structures. The latest discoveries that will once again be highlighted in “The Curse of Oak Island” season 7 episode 17 may give answers to some of the mysteries of the island that have remained unsolved for over 200 years.
The greatest find
Most probably, the greatest find that the team has at this time is the possible discovery of the flood tunnel. In the last episode, they started digging on the spot where they found a huge anomaly. They dug and just 10 feet away from the 60 feet target, water started squirting out, and they are happy because it could be part of the flood tunnel that they are looking for.
“The Curse of Oak Island” season 7 episode 17 will show the continuation of the digging, and it will be revealed what is down there. They are also aiming to find the sunken ship buried on the same spot.
