Digital Fineprint, UK-based InsurTech startup, announced that it has been selected from more than 300 applicants to participate in Accenture’s Fintech Innovation Lab in London.
The announcement follows after Digital Fineprint closed $400k funding round to double its team size and recently awarded Appointed Representative status for insurance by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), the release stated.
The Fintech Innovation Lab is a 12-week accelerator program that brings together early stage fintech startups with global leading banks and insurers. The accelerator will select entrepreneurs who aim to innovate financial services and the selected participants receive an opportunity to fine-tune and develop their innovative business models by collaborating with peers and under the guidance of expert mentors in the industry.
“We couldn’t be happier with our progress in the last three months. We are post-revenue, have a solid pipeline, an obscenely talented team and now we have the privilege of being mentored by the top names in insurance and tech. Working with Accenture and its partners will be a great opportunity for our company’s development, and we can’t wait to help more clients,” Erik Abrahamsson, founder and CEO of Digital Fineprint, stated. According to him, participating in the fintech accelerator will provide the advancement required to bring the company to the forefront of the InsurTech ecosystem.
The Accenture Fintech Innovation Lab will run from January to March this year, in the newly opened Canary Wharf offices designed by innovation ecosystem specialists The Trampery. The fintech accelerator’s previous alumni’s include Logical Glue, Digital Shadows, uTrade, among others.
