Adidas said its tweet of a grid photo of 25 different pairs of bare breasts to promote its new sports bra collection has been censored to abide by social media guidelines.
The sportswear giant emphasized that women’s breasts in all shapes and sizes deserve support and comfort, which is why its new sports bra range contains 43 styles to let everyone find the right fit.
Adidas' new campaign tweeting the image linking to the collection and using the hashtag #SupportIsEverything to promote body positivity drew ire from many.
Some Twitter users deem the tweet as not appropriate for younger users of the platform.
Adidas' social media team is reportedly busy responding to people who aren't fans of the ad or don't understand their message.
