Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez have finally been engaged after dating for more than two years. Following the announcement, the rumor mill was quick to spew out stories and speculation, ranging from cheating rumors to extravagant wedding plans.
The latest of this came from Life & Style (via Gossip Cop) claiming that Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are planning the most expensive nuptials Hollywood has ever seen. An insider supposedly told the gossip outlet this information, who is touting that the newly engaged couple is prepared to dish out $15 million for the union.
“It’s going to be one lavish affair! They’re thinking of having a destination wedding, maybe in the Bahamas, where they got engaged,” the unknown tipster said. But since it’s Life & Style that wrote this article, it’s best to take their word with a mountain of salt. The magazine has time and again proven that it’s not a reliable source of information. For instance, the outlet published a story last November saying that Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are getting married soon.
In the piece, the publication contends that the couple has already purchased an engagement ring in Miami. The outlet went on to say that Alex Rodriguez wanted Jennifer Lopez to be there as he was worried he’ll choose the wrong bling. That claim proved way off the mark as the pair only got engaged last month.
What’s more, Jennifer Lopez admitted that he had no idea Alex Rodriguez was going to propose to her. The “I’m Real” singer also shared that they still don’t have any plans for the wedding yet as they’re busy with their respective projects. Even the date is still up in the air as of this writing.
And speaking of dates, Jennifer Lopez has recently announced that her upcoming film “Hustlers” will be hitting theaters on Sept. 13. There’s no doubt that Alex Rodriguez and his kids will be there at the premiere as the family has already gotten close with “The Boy Next Door” actress through their years of being together.
