BTS Jin was mentioned on MBC’s Christmas episode of “Radio Star,” and it was because of rapper Sleepy. On the Dec. 25 broadcast of the program, the rapper appeared on the show as a guest together with Momoland’s JooE, Kim Young Ho, and Sam Okyere.
During the show, the guests shared stories where they were shown kindness by the people around them. They each shared their experiences, and when it was Sleepy’s turn, he disclosed a time when BTS Jin sent him a text, and he was very touched with the gesture.
Sleppy recounted that Jin offered to help him a bit if he is struggling. Everyone already knows that the rapper was previously involved in court battles with his former agency, TS Entertainment. At that time, he confessed that he doesn’t even have money to maintain his home because his company failed to pay what is due to him.
Jin showed he is a true friend
With this knowledge, BTS Jin contacted Sleepy to offer financial help. The idol singer also explained that he doesn’t mean anything but he just wants to help if he can.
"We got close after going to the jungle together. When the news went out, BTS' Jin texted me offering financial help,” Allkpop quoted Sleepy as saying. “He was very cautious, saying 'Hyung, please don't get me wrong but I can help if you are really, really struggling. I don't mean to offend you in any way.”
Sleepy added that BTS Jin asked him to just give him a call if he needed any help from him. The rapper also said that he just want to share the story because he was really thankful, and although he hasn’t asked for help (yet), he said that he was touched because it’s the thoughts that count.
BTS’ new tour
Meanwhile, Big Hit Entertainment recently made an announcement that BTS will be back with a new tour. The agency updated its Twitter with an image that was captioned “April 2020. Stay Tuned.” Although no other details were added, fans are assuming that the group will be releasing its new album soon and go on a world tour again in 2020.
