BTS V has been trending since appearing at the red carpet of the 62nd Grammy Awards that took place on Jan. 26 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. It was said that it was not just the ARMYs around the world who noticed the second youngest in the phenomenal group, but even those who are not yet familiar with the South Korean boy band have started asking around who he is.
BTS V at the Grammy’s
It was reported that some of the viewers have been trying to find out the identity of the “guy in all black,” and needless to say, BTS V also went viral for his looks. At the red carpet, he walked with his bandmates that include RM, Jimin, Jungkook, J-Hope, Jin and Suga, wearing a long coat, turtleneck, and black trousers. All seven members were said to have worn the suit creations of Bottega Veneta.
With Kim Taehyung’s minimalist look, fans could not help but say he still looks so damn good even with just a simple ensemble. He was so good-looking that no wonder many people noticed him at the event.
Ariana Grande collab
In any case, there is another reason why BTS V trended after this year’s Grammy’s. It was because of the American pop singer, Ariana Grande. During the rehearsals, she bumped into BTS, and they posed for a picture which she uploaded on her Instagram.
Grande was sitting beside BTS V, and many fans commented that collaboration for the two of them would be great. Some of the fans wrote messages like “Only Taehyung and Ariana the collaboration we want to see!!” and “Hey @ArianaGrande, you know what to do..your vocals would match so well together.”
These were some of the comments after one fan asked BTS V and Ariana Grande if there is a possibility of a collab in the future. What’s more, fans went haywire when the “Thank You, Next” singer “liked” the tweet, which for most fans means that Grande is saying “it can happen.”
Meanwhile, BTS V and the rest of his bandmates are busy preparing for the release of their “Map the Soul: 7” album. This new record has been set for launch in February.
