“Better Call Saul” has reached its end as its upcoming season 6 is set to conclude the series. This was already hinted since the beginning when the executive producers mentioned that they don’t want this prequel series to go way beyond “Breaking Bad’s” number of seasons.
The logic for this is - “Better Call Saul” was produced based on one of “Breaking Bad’s” character, Saul Goodman, so it should not surpass the episodes of the original. Besides, at this point, the storyline of “BCS” has already reached the timeline of “BB,” so this is another reason why the series can’t go way past the sixth season.
Plot twist prediction
In “Better Call Saul” season 6, Jimmy McGill is transforming to his bad Saul Goodman character. He decided to return to his old ways as a lawyer which means, he will now do anything for money, even if it means getting the crooks out of jail.
He is expected to be in his full-blown corrupt lawyer character in “Better Call Saul” season 6, but there is a surprising twist that awaits the viewers. From the start, Kim Wexler has been an upright lawyer that it was even predicted that her relationship with Jimmy would crumble down as he started to lean on the bad side in season 5.
However, she still ended up marrying Jimmy, and the unexpected thing is that it seems that rather than pulling Jimmy back to the good side, she is the one being absorbed to the bad side. The changes in her character were confirmed by Rhea Seehorn, the actress playing Kim in “Better Call Saul.”
In her interview with The New York Times, Seehorn revealed that Kim is now leaning on the side of the crooks as the situation is calling for it. She explained that her husband is in danger in “Better Call Saul” season 6 so she has to help him.
This suggests that together, Jimmy and Kim will fight cartel leader Lalo Salamanca (Tony Dalton). Additionally, she will take down Howard Hamlin, her former boss and she could commit some crimes while doing so.
Guest roles from “Breaking Bad” series
Finally, since “Better Call Saul” season 6 is the last and it has reached the “Breaking Bad” timeline, fans are clamoring for the appearance of Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston. While the two actors expressed their willingness for a cameo role, AMC is not yet confirming anything at this point.
