‘Blindspot’ season 2’s episode 18, titled “Senile Lines,” will follow the team as they go under investigation by an old rival. Meanwhile, it was speculated that a core character may be leaving the series.
The short synopsis for “Senile Lines” posted on TV Guide reads, “A mysterious death at a foster home comes onto the team's radar because of a tattoo. Meanwhile, the team struggles to defend itself when it's under investigation by an old rival.”
The promo for the upcoming episode shows the FBI team under investigation for a new case. It was also hinted that a core character will be leaving although no details have been revealed as of the present.
According to Fansided, it is safe to presume that Jane Doe (Jaimie Alexander) and Kurt Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) won’t be leaving the series anytime soon since they are two of the most important characters. Roman (Luke Mitchell), Patterson (Ashley Johnson), and Zapata (Audrey Esparza) are also unlikely candidates to get the boot.
It was speculated that Reade (Rob Brown) may be the one finally leaving the show, considering the trouble his character has gotten himself into in the current season.
Meanwhile, it was also reported that a villain will also be returning to the series. According to International Business Times, Assistant U.S. Attorney Matthew Weitz (Aaron Abrams) will be featured in episode 18 and will be adamant on taking down Kurt Weller’s team.
Abrams’ antagonist was first introduced in season 1’s episode 14, titled “Rules in Defiance” as an attorney who investigated Bethany Mayfair’s (Marianne Jean Baptiste) misconduct. He also bugged Zapata’s home to gather more information about the team.
‘Blindspot’ season 2’s episode 18, titled “Senile Lines,” is scheduled to air on NBC on April 5, 2017. The crime-drama television series was created by Martin Gero and premiered on the network on September 2015. The show focuses on a heavily tattooed woman who lost her memory and identity.
