After a not so lengthy wait, the American police procedural TV series that everyone loves is finally done with their breaks and is now prepping up for their next episode. Blue Blood returned last January 8 for its midseason premiere with their new episode entitled "Back in the Day". It was received with so much warmth as the new episode sheds to us a new light about our characters. And now the main character is having some kind of a situation as a new problem arise.
So for those of you who have not watch it yet, beware for this article contains spoilers.
Episode 11 circles around Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck) and his former partner in duty who wanted to write a book or memoir filled with stories about their past work and experiences in the force. It may have been for an innocent purpose but Frank is worried that his past works and actions may be discovered. There could also be a possibility that some may consider them dirty or illegal, whether it may be in the past or not.
Given that Frank is already a Commissioner, this may cost him his job or may reflect badly on him. It is understandable that Frank feels that way. The possibility of walking down the memory lane when you have clearly moved on from it is scary and the thought of people knowing your past actions is unwelcoming. Garrett also mentioned to Frank about possible consequences if this book ever gets published, "What I do know is if that book gets published, you're handing your enemies a bat to beat you with, with nails sticking out of the business end."
Frank, who is now in distress, will do his best to convince his partner not to publish the book. But what will he going to do if his ex-partner publishes his book and tell the whole world about their past doings. We shall see on the next episodes as the upcoming episode of Blue Blood airs Friday, Jan. 15 at 10 p.m. ET on CBS.
