Konohamaru and Boruto are on a mission to help their new friend Lemon Yoimura, who appears to come from a mysterious clan. However, since Lemon resides in a village outside Hidden Leaf, the two ninjas are going to face trouble while attempting to save Lemon in “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 118.
A new filler arc is currently in progress, and it is focused on Konohamaru’s new crush named Lemon introduced in “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 116. Their first meeting was like a scene from a rom-com with a touch of the Naruto universe. But the mood completely changed when a creepy guy with a look disapproving Konohamaru and Boruto’s presence was introduced.
‘Boruto’ episode 118 spoilers: Konohamaru detained outside Hidden Leaf
“Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 118 will not be released until early August, but synopses are already out for the upcoming episodes. Additionally, the video preview for episode 117 shows Lemon being kept in a cage where Boruto and Konohamaru visit her.
Lemon being held against her will is an obvious red flag that the ninjas will not take for granted. So Boruto and Konohamaru will pursue a rescue mission despite it being outside their area of responsibility. To save her, Konohamaru secretly investigates the earlier mentioned creepy guy named Akitsuki Kankitsu. However, the mission goes awry in “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 118 when Konohamaru finds himself detained by the locals in Lemon’s village.
‘Boruto’ episode 118 release date, plot: Boruto proceeds with dangerous covert mission
Konohamaru will likely get reprimanded by Naruto once he is deported back to Hidden Leaf. But this is not going to stop Boruto from going through with the secret mission. “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 118 synopsis (courtesy of OrganicDinosaur) indicates that Boruto will keep a close distance on Akitsuki when “something astonishing happens.”
Meanwhile, OrganicDinosaur also explained some of the translation ambiguities in the original, Japanese title of “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 118. But based on the words used, the reliable source suggests the possibility of seeing a monster that can either absorb someone else’s memory or serve as a memory-keeping creature. Note that previous teasers revealed Lemon’s clan has long been tasked to keep a certain monster at bay.
I wanted to refer to Boruto anime EP#118 just by it's romanization, "Kioku wo Kurau Mono"... But I'll go with "The One that Acquires Memories". I wrote a giant translation note to explain it's troublesome ambiguity with my summary anyway~ It'll broadcast on 8/4! pic.twitter.com/Npseo9dlMr

One more episode will be released before “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 118 comes out on Aug. 4. Lemon will finally get to talk to Boruto and Konohamaru in episode 117, so fans should expect to get new information in this installment.
