Bosch Sensortec is a leading supplier of MEMS (microelectromechanical systems) sensors and solutions tailored for smartphones, tablets, wearable devices and IoT applications. Bosch Sensortec recently announced a new family of MEMS acceleration sensors for wearable devices, offering high performance and ease of integration in compact packages. The new BMA456 and BMA423 provide a complementary alternative to Bosch’s existing sensors for wearables and smartphones. For example, the BMI160 and BMA455 contains ultra-small acceleration sensors with integrated Android features designed for low-power smartphone applications.
