Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie want to finalize their divorce in an amicable manner so to be able to do this, the ex-couple reportedly decided to go on a ‘secret trip.’ With the outing, the pair is hoping to work on the details of their divorce so it can be finalized soon. But, is this true?
According to Radar Online, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt planned the outing so they can settle in private and end their court battle on child custody and divorce. The magazine stated that the pair chose a quiet place to reach an agreement that will be agreeable to both of them. They want closure and this is the other aim for the excursion.
"They're going to try a brand new, relaxed setting outside of LA where they'll have uninterrupted privacy and a long weekend to try and hash things out," a source told Radar.
It was added that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s lawyers are expected to come with them but they will be staying in separate rooms. And while the ex-couple is away, their six children are being cared for by nannies in Los Angeles.
It turned out that this news is false. It was pointed out that the narration that says Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are going to try to work things out by talking at a relaxed setting outside of Los Angeles is far from the truth. In reality, the two cannot stay in a room without having a heated argument even with the presence of their respective lawyers so the suggestion that they will be left alone to talk does not make sense.
Gossip Cop also reached out to Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s respective representatives and both parties denied the rumors about a “secret getaway.” What’s more, Radar released the same kind of stories featuring the “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” actors but those were always proven to be false so it seems it cannot be trusted.
