Burger King wants customers to indulge in its new Guilty Butter Croquette Sandwich, saying cheat days should be thoroughly enjoyed by going all out in high-calorie style with extra butter.
The fast-food giant is sure that this new Guilty “Butter Coro” Sandwich, as they’re affectionately calling it, would captivate its clients.
It’s a bold move by Burger King to choose the start of the year to release a new guilty pleasure when most are likely planning to stick to a better diet.
For those who have broken their New Year’s resolutions, they can indulge with butter-soaked buns and a “newly developed special butter croquette” along with its creamy mayonnaise and a special cheese sauce.
But there are pickles, onions, and lettuce to provide some nutrition and refreshment.
The burger, priced at 640 yen (US$5.52), made its debut at select locations around January 7.
Back in October, the fast-food giant offered the Guilty Butter Beef Burger and Guilty Butter Chicken Burger, which both feature its new “craft buns” that have been soaked in butter.
Customers couldn’t resist these guilty pleasures back then.
