Honorable Ademola Ojo, the Commissioner for Trade, Industry, Investment, and Cooperatives in Oyo State, expressed the state government's commitment to creating a conducive business environment for Burger King in Oyo State. To attract more investors, the government announced that there would be no taxes on consumption, specifically on food and restaurant services. The government's dedication to fostering a business-friendly atmosphere was further highlighted during the ceremony.
Mr. Rushdi Ibrahim, the Chief Operating Officer of Burger King Nigeria, emphasized the company's unique selling points, which include diverse pricing packages catering to customers from all walks of life and a strong focus on exceptional customer service. "We want to be a brand for everybody, not just a select few," said Ibrahim. The strategic selection of Ibadan as the second city outside Lagos signifies Burger King's ambitious plans for further expansion in Nigeria.
