LOGANSPORT, Ind., July 21, 2017 -- The Balance Sheet Numbers on the second page of this press release reflect the June 30, 2016 numbers. The Heading on the July 12, 2017 Press Release incorrectly read 12/31/16. This heading has been revised and is the reason for this revised press release.
Logansport Financial Corp., (OTCBB:LOGN), parent company of Logansport Savings Bank, reported net earnings for the quarter ended June 30, 2017 of $515,000 or $.83 per diluted share, compared to earnings in 2016 of $502,000 or $.80 per diluted share. Year to date the company reported net earnings of $988,000 for 2017 compared to $1,005,000 for 2016. Diluted earnings per share for the six months ended June 30, 2017 were $1.59 compared to $1.60 for the six months ended June 30, 2016. Total assets at June 30, 2017 were $170.8 million compared to total assets at December 31, 2016 of $170.4 million. Total shareholders' equity at June 30, 2017 was $22.29 million compared to $22.38 million at December 31, 2016. Dividends paid to shareholders at June 30, 2017 are $1,586,000 compared to dividends paid at June 30, 2016 of $317,000. This is the result of both normal quarterly dividend increases and also the Special Dividend of $2.00, which was paid to shareholders in the first quarter of 2017.
