“Call of Duty: Modern Warfare” may not be for kids anymore as the game is more intense compared to the previous ones. The creators made the game as close to to the real war situation as possible so adult players will understand and play it better.
“Call of Duty: Modern Warfare” will present modern-day conflicts like what everyone watches on the news these days. There are terror attacks here and there, and this will be presented in the newest “Call of Duty” game.
What Infinity Ward will offer to gamers
“Call of Duty: Modern Warfare” is the latest installment in the “Call of Duty” gaming line and it will be released soon. Its developer, Infinity Ward, promised their patrons that the new game will offer bigger things that they have not done before yet.
The studio revealed that they made sure that “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare” will feel real so they worked on the weapons, uniforms and others to make everything feel authentic. They added that since it is a war story and they made is so real, it will make players question their morality.
In fact, when asked the question, "What does Modern Warfare mean in 2019?” Narrative director Taylor Kurosaki told Playstation Magazine, “It means the battlefield is blurrier than ever. It means enemies don’t wear uniforms, it means that collateral damage is a real part of the equation and people having to make split-second life-or-death decisions."
How the team worked to achieve authenticity
The studio shared that to make it possible for them to present a realistic game in “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare,” they went to great lengths like meeting with the experts to make sure that they are conveying what modern warfare as it really is. They said that they even invite and interview Navy SEALs to their office and asked them to demonstrate specific things such as gaining entry to a door and other movements that players will do while playing.
Meanwhile, “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare” is set to be released on October 25. It will be available for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
