“Criminal Minds” Season 14 Episode 5 will see the crime thriller get into the Halloween spirit with a new case involving some rather creepy circumstances. To start with, it’s set in the hometown of J.J. (A.J. Cook) and is about an urban legend that is uncannily similar to that of “Slender Man.” What’s more, it would seem that the BAU agent is actually afraid to take it on.
In the “Criminal Minds” Season 14 Episode 5 sneak peek available over at TV Guide, it shows Alvez (Adam Rodriguez) and Lewis (Aisha Tyler) asking a scared girl about her experience in the woods. It would seem that she went there with her friends to test their courage against a mythical figure known as “Tall Man.” This ended badly for her and now the team needs to figure out what is happening.
Before they can do so, however, J.J. will need to contend with the traumatic memories that this case will bring up. It would seem that it has to do with the death of her sister, which might have something to do with the events in “Criminal Minds” Season 14 Episode 5. What exactly happened and is the “Tall Man” actually real?
A synopsis for “Criminal Minds” Season 14 Episode 5 is also available along with a promo clip posted on SpoilerTV’s YouTube page. There is no chance that this is going to be a supernatural case, but it’s bound to be spooky, all the same when it airs on Oct. 31.
“The BAU investigates a spooky local ghost story of the 'Tall Man' and the clues it provides when two people go missing in the woods of East Allegheny’s Dead Man’s Conservatory, and a third mysteriously surfaces the following day with limited details as to what happened to her friends. To assist with the case, JJ reluctantly returns to her hometown, triggering emotional flashbacks to age 11 and her older sister’s tragic death,” the synopsis reads.
