Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov has equipped a Cybertruck with a machine gun, potentially altering the dynamics of the Russia-Ukraine conflict as speculation mounts over its battlefield deployment.

Cybertruck Could Join Russian Forces in Ukraine

The commander of the Chechen region obtained a Tesla Cybertruck and mounted a machine gun on it, suggesting that it could join the Russian side in the conflict with Ukraine.

The leader of Russia's Chechen province, Ramzan Kadyrov, has a terrible track record as the de facto dictator of Chechnya for the last twenty years. A great number of tortures and murders had him directly linked.

However, he is a huge fan of Elon Musk and the Tesla Cybertruck.

Kadyrov posted photos of himself operating a Cybertruck equipped with a machine gun in his Telegram messages:

It is highly improbable that the Chechen leader actually received the Cybertruck from Elon Musk, since it would violate sanctions imposed on Russia and Kadyrov. Nevertheless, as shown above, the Chechen leader expressed gratitude to Musk for the vehicle.

A more plausible explanation is that he is expressing gratitude to Musk for "creating" the Cybertruck.

Kadyrov Praises Musk as 'Genius' Behind Cybertruck

Kadyrov has made it plain in his Telegram chats that he thinks Musk is the "strongest genius of modern times." He also asserts that the Cybertruck will be utilized in a "special military operation," which is the term Russia is using to describe its invasion of Ukraine.

Additionally, Musk was extended an invitation to visit Chechnya by the leader of the Chechen people.

Mystery Surrounds Cybertruck's Arrival in Russia

Around the beginning of this year, Electrek published an article about two Cybertrucks that were seized at the customs office in Lithuania on the grounds that it was suspected that they were headed to Russia.

According to a subsequent source, the Cybertrucks managed to get past Lithuanian customs and reach Russia, but the EV news site was unable to verify the claim. Whether these are distinct Cybertrucks or if Kadyrov obtained one of them is unknown.
