"Destiny 2" was launched in September 2017 and since then it has gained a lot of support from gamers because how well it was made. Now, the "Destiny 2: Forsaken" Legendary Collection is looking to expand the content of the game to the delight of those who have been waiting for its release.
The expansion is slated to arrive on Sept. 4, just two days before the game celebrates its first anniversary. The "Destiny 2: Forsaken" Legendary Collection will include Curse of Osiris and Warmind, IGN reported.
However, the "Destiny 2: Forsaken" Legendary Collection will not include the annual pass, which will provide access to three smaller expansions, including Black Armory (Winter 2018), Joker's Wild (Spring 2019), and Penumbra (Summer 2019). The pass will be sold off separately for $34.99 or can be purchased alongside "Destiny 2: Complete Collection," priced at $99.99.
The "Destiny 2: Forsaken" Legendary Collection will allow Guardians to explore new areas in the Reef and a unique zone called the Dreaming City. What’s more, new game modes will be available like Gambit and Breakthrough, as well as new weapons and armor that will herald a new game style for players.
Weapons like the Two-Tailed Fox will allow Guardians to launch two rockets on a single shot and the Trinity Ghoul will blast off electrical storm arrows whenever a player performs a precision kill. As for new armor of the "Destiny 2: Forsaken" Legendary Collection, it will feature the Antaeus Wards that reflect projectiles whenever a slide is performed, while Sixth Coyote will allow players to perform a double dodge.
The "Destiny 2: Forsaken" Legendary Collection will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on Sept. 4. And on Aug. 28, a pre-patch will be launched to provide a sneak peek at what changes players can expect moving forward.
