The future and possibility of “Domestic Girlfriend” season 2 getting produce is still one of the biggest conundrums in the anime fans community today. Interestingly, fans have different opinions on whether or not they should expect the series to get a second installment.
'Domestic Girlfriend' season 2 production: What to expect
The year 2019 is almost ending and it has been months since season 1 concluded. But the producers of the anime series have maintained their silence on the production of “Domestic Girlfriend” season 2.
Many online forum discussions have been dedicated to weighing the possibilities or impossibility of having “Domestic Girlfriend” season 2 made. Surprisingly, many fans are not very excited about the idea of having a second season. They have also suggested that several decisions in the way season 1 episodes were adapted from the manga made it seem like a second season is not in the pipeline at all.
Changes between the events that were told in the manga and how they were adapted to anime are common. However, avid fans of the series noticed that season 1 missed out on too many important scenes that it would be quite awkward to continue the story in “Domestic Girlfriend” season 2.
There were also comments that it would not be disappointing not to have “Domestic Girlfriend” season 2. Some argued that the manga series is better than the TV adaptation because the latter did not have good pacing. Censorship is also suspected as a factor why many steamy scenes in the manga cannot be carried over the anime. For these reasons, many fans have been encouraging others to no longer expect “Domestic Girlfriend” season 2 and just follow the story through the manga.
'Domestic Girlfriend' season 2 spoilers: Who will Natsuo date next
Whether or not “Domestic Girlfriend” season 2 is going to be released, more exciting developments in the plot await from where season 1 ended. Team Hina fans, however, will not favor what happens next because Natsuo will be spending much more time with Rui. Hina will not be coming back anytime soon, and Natsuo finds himself getting emotionally closer to the younger Tachibana sister.
