Donald Trump recently hosted a disaster meeting in Tennessee following the deadly tornadoes that took the life of some residents in a local town.
During his outing, the POTUS made headlines after he was photographed seemingly wearing a diaper. In fact, the hashtag #DiaperDon became trending on social media after the president’s critics and supporters noticed that he was sporting a budge on the crotch area of his pants.
Shortly after, a photo of Melania Trump’s husband seemingly wearing wet pants also made headlines. Initially, netizens were convinced that the POTUS wet his pants during the disaster meeting. And if he did, the first theory that he was wearing a diaper was immediately debunked.
“Did Trump wet his pants?” Twitter user @IamZelda93 said.
“Elephant man Donnie has dressed in the dark again (and found some of Pavarotti’s old clothes)… and yes, I think that may well be piss seeping through his giant nappy…” Twitter user @FernandoMcDuff said.
“He’s leaking,” Twitter user @Oytaki said.
“You mean, besides Trump’s wet pants indicating he just lost control of his bodily function again?” Twitter user @ResisterDude said.
“Did his catheter have an oopsie?” Twitter user @ThisFlyin said.
Days after Trump was teased for allegedly wetting himself in public, Snopes clarified that this wasn’t necessarily the case. The publication said that what appeared as a wet mark was simply a shadow.
“This is a genuine photograph. However, the darkened area on Trump’s pants is not the result of incontinence. It is just a shadow. This photograph was taken at Jefferson Avenue Church of Christ in Cookeville, Tennessee, by local photographer George Walker IV. The picture was posted to social media by Tennessee Governor Bill Lee,” the publication wrote.
They also shared the photo that Lee shared on Twitter. Upon closer inspection, it becomes evident that the POTUS didn’t wet himself in public. But his budge, which made him look as though he was wearing a diaper, was still there.
