Doosan Corp. is dealing with 20 companies to get orders of automated guided forklifts, hoping to increase sales in South Korea.
To meet the growing demand for the equipment, Doosan also plans to expand its product lineup of automated forklifts to include pallet trucks.
It was only last year when Doosan launched its first unmanned forklifts in the local market.
Doosan Group is hounded by financial woes and has been seeking to sell core assets to meet its obligations.
Last month, it disposed of its 18.05 percent stake in battery foil maker Doosan Solus Co. to SkyLake Investment Co. for 238 billion won.'
It also sold its business division and oil pressure machine maker Doosan Mottrol to a consortium of Socius Advisors and Well to Sea Investment Co. for 453 billion won.
