“Elder Scrolls VI” is the highly anticipated sequel to the massively popular “Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim” that is not expected to come out any time soon. While the developers are still working on the game, however, fans are demanding that they make one crucial addition to it. They basically want Shirley Curry, 81, to be added to the game who is also known as the “Skyrim Grandma.”
Ms. Curry came to prominence back in 2015 when she started her own YouTube channel where she uploaded videos of her playing “Skyrim.” This quickly endeared her to fans of the game and she has since become something of a favorite grandmother to the community. As such, players are now petitioning that Bethesda add her to “Elder Scrolls VI.”
What sparked this sudden movement within the community are the recent comments that Ms. Curry made when talking about “Elder Scrolls VI.” She expressed dismay that the game is so far away and that she may not make it when it launches due to her age. Even if she is still alive when the title is released, she would be 88 years old by then or older.
This prompted fans to look for a way to give “Skyrim Grandma” some form of consolation for potentially not being able to play “Elder Scrolls VI” and her addition to the game would be exactly this. There has yet to be an official response from Bethesda as of writing, which is understandable considering the problems related to “Fallout 76.”
Then again, even if the company does not end up adding Ms. Curry to “Elder Scrolls VI” in an official capacity, there is no doubt that modders would fix that in short order. The soonest that this is expected to happen is 2020, which is the predicted launch window of the game.
