Ellen DeGeneres reportedly ditched “RHONY” star Bethenny Frankel and they are no longer friends. It was said that “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” host cut ties and stopped associating herself with the reality TV star.
Based on a report that appeared in National Enquirer (via Gossip Cop), Ellen DeGeneres felt she was being used by the “Real Housewives” mainstay. This supposedly all started when Bethenny Frankel’s talk show called “Bethenny” was canceled in 2014. Ellen produced the show for her but unfortunately, it did not last and went off the air after just a short time.
“Ellen is the reason her talk show ever aired,” a source supposedly told the tabloid. “Lots of TV executives initially rejected the ‘Bethenny’ show, but it was Ellen who convinced executives that they were wrong. Ultimately, it was Ellen who was wrong.”
The tipster went on to allege that since then, Ellen and Bethenny have stopped contacting each other. It was added that the reality star was only a good friend when someone was helping her but she tended to move on from them if she did not need them anymore. In short, the source accused Bethenny of being a user.
In any case, Gossip Cop debunked this news so it means it is another false report. According to the publication, the source mentioned in the National Enquirer story did not state how exactly Bethenny “used” Ellen and why Portia de Rossi’s wife feels that her friend was ungrateful. It lacks details to prove its claims so it must not be true.
Meanwhile, Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi just added a beautiful home to their list of properties. The Los Angeles Times reported that the couple purchased a $15 million Regency-style home in Beverly Hills and it is formerly owned by late actress and philanthropist Marjorie Lord.
