Citing a 2020 Congressional Budget Office report, Sirota pointed out that a Medicare for All system could save the U.S. $650 billion annually.

Authorities revealed the suspect remains at large after leaving cryptic messages at the crime scene. The words "delay" and "deny" were found inscribed on bullet casings, echoing the public’s growing frustration with insurance companies’ refusal to provide coverage.
Thompson’s wife, Paulette, disclosed that her husband had recently received threats, although she was unclear on the specifics. “There had been some threats,” she told NBC News. “A lack of coverage, maybe? I don’t know the details, but he mentioned some people had been threatening him.”
