Nike is reportedly limiting the amount of Air Force 1s a single customer can buy, which some theorized is due to the shipping crisis the company is going through.
Last week, Nike alerted sneaker retailers that it would be canceling shipments for Holiday 2021 to Summer 2022.
Screenshots on the Nike website shared by Militia_Kicks show that one order update notes that a customer exceeded “the quantity limit” of online orders. At the same time, it directed another to visit a local Nike location or an authorized retailer to purchase AF1s.
The severe ongoing supply chain disruption and transportation disturbances are a result of the continuing COVID-19 pandemic.
Nike notes that its goal is to resume supply as soon as possible and transparently communicate and provide timely updates about future seasons.
