The update for Snapchat’s iPhone app has finally arrived and now supports a new set of fun video filters along with 3D Touch for the recently launched iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, 9 to 5 Mac reported.
With the new set of filters called “Speed Modifiers”, users will be able to turn videos into slow-motion clips, quickly paced videos with fast forward, and backward-moving movies with rewind.
Techcrunch explains how Here’s how the Speed Modifiers work:
- Slow-Motion: reduces the speed of your video so people can catch the little details
- Fast-Forward: makes your video play faster
- Rewind: plays your video back at the same speed but in reverse, defying the laws of physics
Snapchat users using the latest iPhone models can press firmly on the updated app icon to start new chats or add new friends within the app right from the Home screen.
The latest Snapchat 9.18 update with new video filters and 3D Touch support on new iPhones is available now on the App Store, 9 to 5 Mac reported.
