The partnership includes the support of five community gardens, one located in each New York City borough.
The following are Fidelis Care sponsored community gardens:
- Curtis "50 Cent" Community Garden in Queens
- Cooper Street Community Garden in Brooklyn
- Riley Levin Community Garden in Manhattan
- Bathgate Community Garden in the Bronx
- Mount Olivet Presbyterian Garden in Staten Island
"Fidelis Care is committed to promoting healthier lifestyles for New Yorkers – especially in the neighborhoods where they live," said Chief Marketing Officer Pamela Hassen. "Through our partnership with the New York Restoration Project, we are encouraging local residents to enjoy the benefits of gardening and learn more about healthy nutrition together."
Fidelis Care plans to host a number of community events at the gardens for local New York City residents and Fidelis Care members.
