“Fuller House” season 4 has been renewed and Netflix made the announcement in January. Following the confirmed renewal, the cast expressed excitement via their own social media accounts. It was revealed that the series will have 13 episodes in all.
Among the cast members, Jodie Sweetin was the first to post about “Fuller House” season 4. In her Instagram, she wrote, “Well… it’s official… season 4 of @fullerhouse has been announced!! Can’t wait to get back to work with these lovely ladies @candacecbure@andreabarber and the rest of the FH family ASAP!! #fullerhouse#shewolfpack.”
Spoiler
In her interview with E! News, Candace Cameron-Bure revealed an exciting story to look forward to in the upcoming “Fuller House” season 4. As fans have been asking for D.J. Tanner (Cameron-Bure) and Steve Hale (Scott Weinger) to stop the back and forth and date already, it seems their wish has finally been granted.
"DJ and Steve are together. There's no back and forth in season four, so she's with Steve and made that decision,” Candace Cameron-Bure confirmed via the interview. “I like watching and I hope the fans enjoy actually watching that relationship develop more."
Directorial Debut
Candace Cameron-Bure further disclosed that she will be taking on another job in “Fuller House” season 4. She will be debuting as a director and she will try her expertise in one of the episodes. However, which one she’s directing has not been mentioned. The actress shared that she prepared for this task by asking advice from former co-star and friend Melissa Joan Hart.
Cast
So, who’s coming back in “Fuller House” season 4? It was said that old series regulars like John Stamos, Bob Saget, Dave Coulier and Lori Loughlin are not going to be on the show for all the episodes. In short, their appearances will not be regular anymore but they will still be around from time to time.
Candace Cameron-Bure mentioned that these veterans are likely to be in three episodes for every season. In any case, aside from herself, Jodie Sweetin (Stephanie Tanner), Andrea Barber (Kimmy Gibbler), Michael Champion (Jackson Fuller), Elias Harger (Max Fuller) and Soni Bringas (Ramona Gibbler) are all returning to provide more laughter to their avid viewers.
Guest Stars
There will also be guest stars who will add more fun to the “Fuller House” season 4 storyline and the confirmed ones include Lainie Kazan, Lee Majors (James) and Lindsay Wagner (Millie). Majors and Wagner will play a divorced couple while Kazan will take on the role of Irma. Their connection to the Fullers is not clear as of this time.
“Fuller House” season 4 will also have two new showrunners since Jeff Franklin was fired from the show earlier this year due to alleged misbehavior, as per Variety. Nevertheless, though heartbroken, Franklin said that he wished the cast continued success and added he is proud of what they all accomplished together.
Release Date
“Fuller House” season 4 has no official air date yet but there are speculations that it can come as early as October 2018 or early 2019.
