The second official trailer for the upcoming Season 7 of “Game Of Thrones” has hyped its dedicated fans to a point that July cannot come fast enough. (Watch here)
A huge takeaway from the video is that Season 7 will definitely have a lot of battle scenes. From the fiery sea battle which involves the Greyjoys, Dany and her dragons at Dragonstone, the Unsullied versus the Lannister army, to Jon Snow and the Wights, it clearly echoed that the TV fantasy series based on George RR Martin is close to the end.
On the other hand, it also points to the preparations Jon Snow and his camp are doing to ensure that all of mankind will not be overpowered by the Night King and the White Walkers. Vanity Fair observed that Jon Snow and Ser Davos are seen going and arriving south of Winterfell, which is a first for the bastard Stark. But it is not known whether Jon did meet up with Bran Stark before heading to the south, as the warging Stark sibling is seen arriving in a sled carried by Meera at the Wall entrance. It also appears that fans will see Bran using his powers in a different way, with the Night King sensing the young Stark’s powers.
Meanwhile, it appears Sansa will wage a different battle, albeit internally, no thanks to Littlefinger, TIME noted. A pensive Sansa is seen in the godswood of Winterfell, as Littlefinger’s voice in the background appears to be giving her a lesson about his favorite pastime: scheming.
"Don't fight in the north or the south. Fight every battle, everywhere, always in your mind," Littlefinger said.
