Gucci, one of the most popular luxury brands in the world, has launched its new line of fashion items. However, it is not for humans, as the company is releasing its very first line of pet clothing collection.
As per The Korea Herald, the Italian fashion house is also offering pet accessories and other home goods under its "Gucci Pet Collection" line that was officially launched on Wednesday, June 29. The products in this category are part of a larger collection called the "Gucci Lifestyle" that was initially announced last year.
In any case, Gucci's luxurious pet collection will especially cater to dogs and cats, and allow them to enjoy fancy lifestyles too. The pets can show off their tastefully designed leather collars and leashes made with GG canvas, complete with the iconic Gucci logo. Pet owners can also purchase stylish feeding mats, pet carriers, food bowls, and mini couches with the famous interlocking emblem of Gucci.
"Continuing the narrative of surprise and delight that defines the Gucci Lifestyle selection, the Gucci Pet Collection infuses the everyday with a magical aura," the description of the new collection reads. "Unveiled in a colorful, retro-inspired campaign, the pieces allow each animal's personality to shine as an ode to the Creative Director's vision of individuality."
All of the pet clothing items and accessories are said to be made from recycled cotton and polyester, and the fashion house's own Demetra environmentally-friendly fabric made from sustainable, renewable sources.
With the new Gucci Pet Collection range, pet owners and their felines or canines can now go out with matching luxury clothes. They can wear the same coats, knitwear, shirts, and more when on an outing.
The collection is now available in Gucci outlets in South Korea and online store. It is also up for sale in the United States and as mentioned in The Hollywood Reporter, the prices of pet accessories range from $230 to $600 while the polos, shirts, coats, and knitwear costs from $250 to $850.
Other items such as the waste bag holders and leather Air Tag cases cost $220 to $460 and made-to-order items under the Gucci Pet Collection such as the mini couches, travel carriers, and feeding bowls are priced at $565 to $7,500.
