The Master Chief might not be the only one coming back for “Halo Infinite.” Fans may have found a clue suggesting that the Arbiter will also return and could have a role in the upcoming game.
‘Halo Infinite’ gameplay, plot rumors: What to expect
“Halo Infinite” has been billed as the culmination of the stories from the previous main series installments while also introducing a new saga for the franchise. It has also been confirmed through several teasers that the Master Chief is back and will reclaim his main protagonist status. In some of the latest “Halo” titles, Master Chief’s role in the plot had been scaled down, which did not sit well with some fans.
That might not be the end of the good news, though. A fan dared to ask Kieth David during a recent “10 questions Tuesday” where the actor lets his Twitter followers ask him some questions and answers some of them. One of the few inquiries he picked was from a fan asking if he can reveal whether or not he worked on “Halo Infinite” for the role of Thel ‘Vadam, a.k.a. the Arbiter.
The actor provided quite a coy response saying he would have to kill the fan if he is to answer the question. This figurative speech usually means there is something to tell but the person has sworn not to reveal anything about it. And with that, many fans are now thinking that the way David answered the question suggests the Arbiter’s return in “Halo Infinite” is very likely.
I'd have to kill you. https://t.co/OhGHiSMgvT

For now, fans might want to subscribe to this speculation with caution since the released “Halo Infinite” trailers have not provided any indication about the return of the Arbiter. But since the Master Chief is getting most of the action in the game, it would be interesting to see him reunited with one of his most trusted and efficient allies throughout the saga.
‘Halo Infinite’ exact release date leak is likely fake
It will take a few more months to see if this speculation would turn out to be accurate, though. As 343 Industries recently announced, “Halo Infinite” will not be released until fall 2021. That is at least 10 to 11 months from now.
Meanwhile, fans should also be cautious with some of the so-called leaks being shared online about the exact release date of “Halo Infinite.” Someone shared what initially seemed like a leaked screenshot suggesting a Nov. 15, 2021 release date. However, other fans were quick to point out that the image was likely fake.
