‘Hawaii Five-O’ season 7’s episode 15, titled "Ka Pa'ani Nui" (Big Game), is set to follow the team as they take on a homicide case connected to illegal shark finning. Meanwhile, they will also have to investigate the possibility of a fugitive former Nazi war criminal hiding out in a leprosy colony.
The synopsis for "Ka Pa'ani Nui" posted on TV Guide reads, “Five-0 investigates a murder involving the illegal practice of shark finning and, during the probe, uncovers the possibility that a former Nazi war criminal may be hiding out in an old leper colony in Hawaii.”
In the upcoming episode, Steve (Alex O'Louglin) and his team will tackle a new homicide case that is potentially connected to illegal shark finning. To make matters more interesting along the way, they will discover that a former Nazi war criminal may be evading authorities by using an old leper colony as a hideout.
The promo for episode 15 follows the Five-O task force investigating a man called “The Hunter.” It is revealed that this hunter preys on exotic animals and has even acquired a number of enemies presumably through his dangerous and illegal work. The final moments from the promo also shows a dead body strung upside down on a rope for the team to find.
It would be interesting to see an episode that brings to light socially relevant and controversial topics such as illegal poaching and Nazi war crimes.
Meanwhile, according to Cartermatt, the task force will also have to look into another Hawaiian community that may be harboring a fugitive ex-Nazi war criminal.
‘Hawaii Five-O’ season 7’s episode 15, titled "Ka Pa'ani Nui" (Big Game), is scheduled to air on CBS on February 3, 2017. It was directed by Bryan Spicer and written for the small screen by Helen Shang. It will be followed by episode 16, titled "Poniu I Ke Aloha" (Crazy In Love), scheduled for February 10.
