“The Living Stage has become a forum for performance that has brought our guests and neighbors together in face-to-face conversation,” said President & Chief Executive Officer Greg Mount. “During this time of great change around the country, The Living Stage is proving to serve a larger community purpose and we look forward to sharing that experience with our new neighbors in Brooklyn and Omaha.”
Devoted to community and innovation, the brand created The Living Stage as a venue for people to share their creativity and innovation and to spread awareness about their passions during scheduled performances. Performances have ranged from storytelling to cooking demonstrations, poetry readings and political conversations showing the wide range of opportunity for everyone with something to say.
“We are proud to have created a platform that is changing the way communities engage with local hotels,” said Executive Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer Bill Linehan. “Everyone says they want to be a part of the neighborhood and through The Living Stage, Hotel RL properties are giving the neighborhood a reason to walk in the door.”
Hotel RL and The Living Stages are cultivating creativity amongst the community by giving a voice to local talent and providing them exposure far beyond the hotel walls, including:
- A gathering place for the creative and curious locals and travelers to spread awareness, innovate and showcase their passions
- Added performance visibility via live broadcast throughout the hotel and all guest rooms
- Social sharing and promotion through Hotel RL channels including visibility on the company’s YouTube channel, WRLTV.com, where performances can be featured as a spotlight segment
- Promotion through the Hotel RL website and the monthly performance calendar email blast
- A network of like-minded individuals and ability to highlight the talents of each community in which a Hotel RL resides
