Apple has been always perceived as the game changer in the technology industry. Over the years, the company has managed to distinguish itself from the rest in the industry and create a powerful brand image. Its products, iPhone, iPads, iPods and others have always taken the centre stage.
The buzz around upcoming Apple products is not unusual, as is the case with the much awaited iPhone 7.
“The rumors for yet to be released iPhone 7 are so rife and all over the web space that most of people are planning to buy it and want to skip the current generation Apple phone completely”, says iphone7update.com.
The site says that according to rumors the iPhone 7 will be released across the world in the third quarter of the year 2016 and will include features like bigger screen (bigger than iPhone 6 plus), powerful camera, strong processor, support for 4G connectivity and perhaps expanded memory.
International Business Times points out noticeable Apple patents that hint at “game-changing” iPhone 7:
1) Protective Mechanism for an Electronic Device, the technology that uses vibration motor to adjust gravity will make sure that a device doesn't fall on the screen. If implemented, users don't have to worry about accidental slip of their device.
2) Touch Surface for Simulating Materials, for recognising hand gestures made by touching a surface.
3) Mirror Tilt Actuation, to improve picture quality with the use of image sensors and "OIS adjusts the direction of the field of view of the camera to compensate for user motion."
4) Elevated Joystick, which will enable an Apple device to transform into an elevated joystick with a touch and then fall back to original state with just a push. It will change mobile phone gaming if it is implemented.
Other path breaking patents, as reported by MacWorld, include solar charging, side walls display, waterproof components and many others.
Although it is uncertain if Apple will actually incorporate all these features into iPhone 7, it seems that the upcoming device will be something that we definitely haven’t seen before.
