NEW YORK, Jan. 12, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Law Offices of Vincent Wong announce that a class action lawsuit has been commenced in the USDC for the Southern District of New York on behalf of investors who purchased Marchex, Inc. (NASDAQ:MCHX) securities between March 19, 2014 and September 18, 2014.

The complaint alleges that throughout the class period, defendants issued materially false and misleading statements to investors and/or failed to disclose that: (1) Allstate sought to switch its business with Marchex to a fixed-fee basis from payments made for each call; (2) consequently, Marchex’s revenue would be negatively impacted.
On September 18, 2014, Marchex announced that it had lowered its 2014 call-driven revenue outlook. The Company attributed this reduction in guidance to “revised commitments” from Allstate.
If you suffered a loss in Marchex you have until January 19, 2016 to request that the Court appoint you as lead plaintiff. Your ability to share in any recovery doesn’t require that you serve as a lead plaintiff.
