The Nintendo Switch already has a library of incredibly impressive games, which makes it a highly sought after console. Now, some upcoming indie titles are coming to the hybrid and they show a lot of promise. If these games are anything to go by, demand for the Switch is only going to increase, which is already more than Nintendo can handle.
It’s worth noting that a lot of these games are going to be Switch-exclusive. Not all of them, though, but enough to make some gamers frustrated. At the top of the exclusives list is Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes, Polygon reports, which is a sequel to the franchise starring Travis Touchdown. It also marks the return of Suda51 as the man responsible for this epic title.
Then there’s the Kentucky Route Zero: TV Edition, which is an episodic video game that’s been on the PC for a while. Next year, it will be coming to consoles along with the last installment. Next on the list is Super Meat Boy Forever, which is the sequel to one of the most popular mobile games of all time, Super Meat Boy.
It’s not over yet as there’s also the Shovel Knight: King of Cards, which is a prequel to the enormously popular Kickstarter success story. There’s also SteamWorld Dig 2, which is coming to the Switch on September 21st. Plus a whole slew of other titles, including Golf Story, Morphies Law, Sausage Sports Club, Yono and the Celestial Elephants, and Wulverblade.
As Kotaku notes, this lineup is already excellent, even without the addition of the amazing Hyper Light Drifter. Suffice it to say, Switch users are going to have a lot of games to choose from now, which should go a long way towards addressing the issue of its limited library of titles.
