James Harden has partnered with Adidas to release the "Harden Vol. 8 FW24" sneakers, sparking debates among NBA fans about their similarity to Yeezys.
Introduction of Harden Vol. 8 FW24 by Adidas
James Harden, star player for the Los Angeles Clippers, has been working with adidas on his eighth signature shoe and has confirmed numerous release dates.
A lot of people really liked the adidas Harden Vol. 8. It is Among the best sneakers of the NBA season, according to Sports Illustrated. But it was nearly too successful, selling out in several colorways after colorway after colorway.
Sports Illustrated shares Friday, Harden, and Adidas shared images of six sneak peek hues of the hoop shoes along with the release dates for each.
Release Dates and Colorways Revealed
Despite Harden's claim that these were his "new flavors," adidas branded them the "Harden Vol. 8 FW24" apparel line.
With that out of the way, here are the release dates and colorways.
Monday, July 1: The "After Hours" colorway, which is black and white, will be released.
Thursday, August 1: The "Crew Yellow" colorway, which consists of yellow and black, will be available for purchase.
Sunday, September 1: The "Luxury Red" colorway, which is red and black, will be available for purchase.
On Tuesday, October 1: The "Purple Burst" colorway, which features purple and black, will be released.
Friday, November 1: The "Uno" colorway in white and gray will be available for purchase.
Even more so than before, the newest shoe from the player's collection aims to display a diverse assortment of designs. It employs the footwear giants' Jet Boost technology to further aid players' agility, has a teardrop EVA cage, and has a conforming inside cuff.
Criticism and Comparisons From NBA Fans
Even while most people loved the sneakers and were eagerly anticipating their debut, there were a few who found fault with Harden Volume 8.
Per Sportskeeda, there were some fans who could not help but notice the similarities between Adidas' Yeezy and the shoe. On the other hand, others were unhappy since purchasers voiced their displeasure with the release schedule.
