Based on what was shared by the show’s executives, “Jane the Virgin” season 5 is the finale. This was also confirmed by Brad Silberling, the series’ director, when he told Metro, “Yes, we are heading into the final season. It is a wonderful final season of the show.”

It was said that “Jane the Virgin” season 5 might end with 19 episodes. This is because the producers stated that the show is ending with 100 episodes and there are just 19 left to complete the said total number.
When is it airing?
It was reported that the series will be back for a midseason premiere. Most likely, “Jane the Virgin” season 5 is coming in 2019, but Otakukart stated that a 2020 premiere is also possible.
