Once again, Jennifer Aniston is being portrayed in recent reports as a woman who constantly needs a man. The actress is allegedly going out with her boxing trainer while another claim says she is specifically eyeing younger men to date. But her camp immediately debunked these gossips.
On Wednesday, Hollywood Life cited a report from Star Magazine that alleges Aniston’s relationship with boxing trainer Leyon Azubuike extends outside the ring. The report even included a quote from a source that says, “Now everyone believes it’s Leyon that Jen’s enjoying.”
Hollywood Life pointed out that Aniston became fond of boxing after her separation with Justin Theroux was confirmed. The cited Star Magazine report then insinuated that boxing, along with dating her trainer, has become Aniston’s way to move on from Theroux. However, Aniston’s spokesperson told Hollywood Life that these claims are simply not true.
Unfortunately, rumors of this nature would not leave Aniston alone. In another case, the actress is said to have acquired a preference for dating much younger men. The rumor fact-checking site Gossip Cop cited a report from Life & Style where Aniston is accused of asking her friends to set her up on a date with “someone in his 20s or 30s who won’t get too attached.”
The tabloid’s so-called insider further claimed that Aniston started wanting to date younger men after Theroux was rumored to be going out with Emma Stone and Selena Gomez. But Theroux’s supposed relationships with Stone and Gomez have previously been denied. Meanwhile, Gossip Cop reiterates that Aniston’s rep already told them these reports are “nonsense.”
Despite her success, Aniston has been portrayed by tabloids as the sad and vengeful ex-wife of Brad Pitt and Theroux or the workaholic actress who refuses to have kids. In the cover story of InStyle Magazine’s September 2018, Aniston confirmed that she is well aware of these claims.
“First, with all due respect, I’m not heartbroken. And second, those are reckless assumptions. No one knows what’s going on behind closed doors,” Jennifer Aniston told her friend Molly McNearney, who did her InStyle interview. “There is a pressure on women to be mothers, and if they are not, then they’re deemed damaged goods. Maybe my purpose on this planet isn’t to procreate. Maybe I have other things I’m supposed to do.”
