Jennifer Aniston and Matt LeBlanc are said to be fighting, and their misunderstanding is making it hard for the “Friends Reunion” to proceed. It was said that while the stars of the popular 1990s show already confirmed that they are returning for their 25th anniversary, it is not yet certain that it will move forward because of the alleged rift between the two stars.
The alleged rift
New Idea reported that the cast - Aniston, LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, and David Schwimmer might have put on a united front when they announced that a “Friends Reunion” special is happening, but the fans don’t see what is happening behind the camera. It was previously reported that the cast was hesitant to do the special, but a hefty pay made them all agree to sign.
“There’s still a ton of drama involving this reunion and plenty of issues to resolve before they can go ahead with anything long-term,” the tipster supposedly told the magazine. “At the end of the day, money has talked and the one-off is a go, but that doesn’t mean everyone is on board and fully comfortable with a new series.”
The source added that Aniston and LeBlanc had to be convinced and the others are talking to them for months just to make them agree for the reunion show. While it was rumored that the two dated during the time when they were still on “Friends,” the actors actually developed tension over the years because LeBlanc reportedly finds Aniston snobbish.
Are Jen and Matt fighting for real?
Gossip Cop immediately dismissed this story because the details are not true. The publication insisted that this report is absolutely false and even described the write-up “so dumb.”
Firstly, it is not true that Jennifer Aniston and Matt LeBlanc had an affair while filming the “Friends” sitcom more than two decades ago. During that time, the actress was with Brad Pitt so there is no chance that she will be in a relationship with her co-star.
Lastly, Aniston and LeBlanc’s relationship is not full of tensions. The truth is, they remained close friends long after their favorite sitcom has ended. All the “Friends” stars are good friends in real life and they still spend time to hang out up to now.
