Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes are one of the couples in Hollywood that rarely show glimpses of their private life. Although they have been together since 2011 and already have two daughters, they haven’t exchanged “I Dos” yet, and while they are not married, their relationship is great, and up to now, they managed to keep their family life out of the spotlight.
The split rumors
Then again, despite their quiet life, there are many reports that say they have broken up already. Gosling and Mendes went on separate ways last year as per NW magazine. They have since been living separately and rarely see each other.
Since they have two children, the actor has been described as a “distant father” as well. He does not visit his family often and never goes out that must either as he just spends his time at home.
“They’re hanging by a thread and have little in common besides their two children,” the source told NW. “They spend hardly any time together and haven’t had a date night in months. She’s a homebody who gets all her fulfillment from the kids while he’s working most of the time.”
Debunking the breakup stories
Gossip Cop launched its own investigation to see if the report about Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes’ split is true. Eventually, they discovered that the claims are false. The publication pointed out that months before the tabloids released news of the couple’s supposed split, the two were often seen together in public.
There was even a time when Ryan and Eva were spotted hiking with their two daughters. In another time, the pair were seen visiting properties as they went house-hunting in Pasadena. What’s more, it has been a year since the news of their separation first came out, and it was proven wrong as they are still together today.
Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes are still going strong, although not many people see them spending time together or go out for dates. The pair met in 2011, and they have been inseparable since that time, which just proved that they are really meant for each other.
