As celebrity news stories go, there are all kinds that the tabloid media get up to and in the case of the Jennifer Lopez, Alex Rodriguez couple, the accusations this time have to do with money. More specifically, a report is suggesting that the two stars in different fields are getting married for business reasons. This is not true, of course, but when have tabloid magazines allowed inconvenient things like the truth to get in their way of publishing such things?
As Gossip Cop points out, the publication NW recently put out a ridiculous story that claims to have a source that is in the know regarding the Jennifer Lopez, Alex Rodriguez engagement. This alleged tipster is claiming that it is for business reasons, not love that the two are getting married. The supposed source even went as far as saying that songstress “knows this relationship is good for her image and she’s not about to let those allegations get in the way of that.”
“Those allegations” being the former baseball star’s supposed habit of cheating on his fiancé. As Jennifer Lopez, Alex Rodriguez stories go, that is another popular one that the tabloid media likes to turn to. In any case, the wedding that the two will be having will also supposedly cost around $21 million. That is a rather odd amount of money to spend on a sham nuptial, thus casting doubt on this particular report.
The reason for that is, of course, the simple fact that this story is not true. The Jennifer Lopez, Alex Rodriguez marriage is not happening because of money. If nothing else, this can be taken as the truth since the two are hardly in need of more cash than they already have.
The Jennifer Lopez, Alex Rodriguez pair have already spoken about these particular subjects in the past, as well. They have said that they do love each other and that if they simply wanted to be in business together, there was no need to get married at all. It would only be complicating things.
