Justin Bieber, Hailey Baldwin Engaged: 'Sorry' Singer's Proposal Was Forced, Report Claims

Justin Bieber

Justin Bieber proposed to Hailey Baldwin just two weeks ago and he did it in front of a crowd at the Bahamas’ Baker’s Bay. Everything seems normal with their engagement but a tabloid reported that the “Love Yourself” singer was just pressured to pop the question to the 21-year-old model.

Allegedly, the Hillsong Church pushed Justin Bieber to do it so it means that he did not ask Hailey Baldwin to marry him out of his own free will. It was the Hillsong pastor Carl Lentz and his church organization that supposedly persuaded the 24-year-old to propose so that they can attract more people to join their church.

“The church leaders are determined to increase membership, and what could be better promotion than Justin getting engaged?” the Star (via Gossip Cop) quoted the so-called "insider" as saying.

Gossip Cop dismissed the claims and pointed out that there is no proof to support the exposé. Plus, Justin Bieber is not attending the Hillsong Church service that much anymore as he and Lentz are no longer close due to a falling out.

Nevertheless, many people believe that Justin Bieber was being sincere when he proposed to Hailey Baldwin. The heartfelt message that he posted on his own Instagram account is enough proof that his engagement is solely out of love.

Meanwhile, it was learned that when Justin Bieber popped up the question, he gave Hailey Baldwin a big diamond ring that cost a hefty $500,000. Elle reported that the engagement ring was delivered to a hotel in New York City where the singer was staying before he brought his girlfriend to the Bahamas.

Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin are now preparing for their wedding and it will not be as big as expected. The latter just wants a smaller celebration so they will do it this way. The pair has already listed some names for their wedding entourage.
