KFC Japan has introduced the Genshin Collaboration Magician Pack, an exclusive meal featuring Genshin Impact-themed packaging and in-game rewards. Available through October 31, the limited-edition combo offers fans a unique experience combining KFC’s Original Crispy recipe with exciting digital content.
KFC Japan Teams Up with Genshin Impact for a Limited-Edition Meal Featuring Exclusive In-Game Rewards
Fried chicken has reached a new level of paid content thanks to Genshin Impact’s latest collaboration with KFC Japan. Like many successful free-to-play games, Genshin Impact offers fun without costing players anything but enticing with optional in-game purchases. This week, though, players can indulge in a new kind of paid content with a real-world reward—fried chicken.
On October 2, KFC Japan launched its special Genshin Impact combo meal, the Genshin Collaboration Magician Pack. The meal's packaging features adorable illustrations of characters Lyney and Lynette, reimagined in super-deformed (chibi) style and sporting KFC-inspired outfits.
The Magician Pack includes three pieces of KFC's Original Crispy recipe: fried chicken, a biscuit, and a medium drink. Along with the meal, customers receive a code to redeem within Genshin Impact for exclusive in-game items, including—you guessed it—fried chicken, plus a particular Wings of Feasting glider.
Upgrade Your Genshin Impact Experience with KFC Japan’s Magician Pack and Exclusive Merch, Available Now
The Genshin Collaboration Magician Pack B costs 1,250 yen (approximately $8.90). For those looking for an upgrade, the Genshin Collaboration Magician Pack A costs 1,700 yen and comes with an additional ticket holder sheath featuring exclusive illustrations of Lyney or Lynette, perfect for holding events or travel tickets.
Customers ordering online through KFC Japan’s system can also win 500 Lyney or 500 Lynette acrylic character standees. For an extra immersive experience, five KFC Japan locations—including Apia Sapporo, Takadanobaba in Tokyo, Port Walk Minato in Nagoya, Nanka Namba Station in Osaka, and Tenjin Southern-dori in Fukuoka—are showcasing full-size standees of the characters.
The Genshin Collaboration Magician Pack is available now through October 31, but, as with many anime and video game promotions, it’s while supplies last. So, for fans of Genshin Impact and KFC, this is the perfect time to enjoy some fried chicken with a magical twist.
