KFC just revealed it had brought back its popular 11 Herb and Spices Firelog that has become a favorite of most customers. The fried chicken-scented log has officially returned for the holidays and the restaurant also introduced the new Herbs and Spices cabin.
It was reported that the Kentucky Fried Chicken 11 Herbs and Spices Firelog usually gets sold out within just hours after release and this year, it will probably be the same scenario. The fast-food chain shared there will be a bit of change for this year’s fire logs such as the new special packaging and the improved extra crispy scent that will fill up homes.
As per Yahoo Finance, KFC made the unique fire logs that offer fried chicken scent in partnership with Enviro-Log and customers can only buy them at Walmart’s for $15.88. Aside from the 11 Herbs and Spices Firelog, the company also launched a contest where buyers of the fire logs can win a cabin getaway at the Kentucky Fried Chicken Firelog Cabin.
The special accommodation is for eight people and they will be able to experience a one-of-a-kind vacation in a restaurant-themed luxury log cabin. The winners can stay for three days and two nights and the prize also include an exclusive dinner prepared on-site by Chriss Scott, KFC’s head chef.
To join the contest and have a chance to be the lucky winner for the getaway, buyers of KFC’s 11 Herbs and Spices Firelog just need to scan the unique QR code that can be seen on the packaging. They can also download the official KFC food delivery app before Dec. 31.
“And while the comforting, crispy aroma of a fried-chicken scented firelog wafting from the fireplace is a gift we all need in 2021, KFC decided to turn it up a notch by introducing the KFC Firelog Cabin experience,” Yum Brands, the parent company of Kentucky Fried Chicken, stated in a press release. This truly once-in-a-lifetime KFC-themed vacation giveaway includes a three-day, two-night stay for up to eight people in a 7,000 square foot, three-story luxury log cabin surrounded by 200-acres of a protected nature reserve in none other than Kentucky, of course.”
